Investigate attitudes towards free speech linking to personality traits/characteristics.

Description

There are TWO aims of this study:

(1) Develop a questionnaire to measure attitudes towards free speech

(2) to determine whether the respondents’ attitudes toward free speech differ according to their personality characteristics.

Attached is the guide to write this report including the specific requirements for the format of writing this report the statistic analysis (SPSS) required and the tables that need to be included in the appendix.

Attached 4 PDF files are some of the previous questionnaires designed to measure attitude towards free speech for your reference; however theses are only for reference because they are either outdated or not suitable for the UK population. Therefore we needed to design a new questionnaire to measure this (which is the first aim to complete this report). Second we need to use SPSS to analysis our collected data and also evaluate the validity of our self-designed questionnaire and investigate whether we can find links/associations between attitudes towards free speech and personality traits.
